David M. Flynn

David is a trusted advisor to government bodies and corporations in matters of land acquisition, use, and development, as well as in business acquisitions and commercial matters.

David joined Chappell Partners LLP in 2004.  Prior to joining the firm, he was in-house counsel to a public company and a member of the mergers and acquisitions group at PwC.

A corporate/commercial and real estate lawyer with vast experience in complex transactions, from 2004 to 2007 David acted as co-counsel in closing the Oak Ridges Moraine Land Exchange.

This was a complicated transaction involving his client and the Province of Ontario, in addition to numerous developers and public agencies. The value of the lands involved in the entire transaction stood in excess of one billion dollars.

His areas of practice include corporate-commercial transactions and real estate law, with a focus on financing and conveyancing as well as wills, trusts and estate administration.

David is also experienced in all aspects of renewable energy projects including licensing, project financing, leases, easements and with all conveyancing requirements associated with green power projects.
